TIMP1 Monoclonal Antibody
Positive cellular localization: Cytoplasm
TIMP-1, a 28 kDa glycoprotein, is an inhibitor of MMPs, a major structural protein of extracellular matrix. MMPs and TIMPs play an important role in the degradation of extracellular matrix, participate in the invasion and metastasis of malignant tumors, and are the main regulatory proteins of the invasion and metastasis potential of malignant tumors. It is mainly used in tumor research.
