Background

Cyclin D1 is located in the nucleus, and its expression level is related to the cell cycle. The expression level in G1 phase is the highest, while that in S phase is the lowest. In normal tissues, the expression of cyclin D1 was limited to the proliferation areas of epithelial, endothelial and some fibroblasts, but not in lymphoid tissues. Cyclin D1 gene amplification caused by mutation and cell cycle process caused by protein overexpression have been observed in a variety of tumors, which may lead to tumor formation. The immunohistochemical detection of cyclin D1 is mainly used for the judging of mantle cell lymphoma. Cyclin D1 is also an important part of the judging of small B cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
