Background

Lambda chain, also known as λ Light chain, immunoglobulin λ Light chain, mainly expressed in B cells. Individual B-cells in lymphoid tissue expresses either Kappa or Lambda light chains, but never both. When κ light chain is used in combination with λ light chain, if the number of positive B cells in one light chain is much more than that of the other light chain, it is called light chain restriction, which indicates monoclonal hyperplasia and thus helping to distinguish benign and malignant lymphoid hyperplasia.

Pathological Antibodies

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) Human Tonsil tissue with Lambda Monoclonal Antibody.
