LMO2

Background

LMO2 is a member of the LIM only protein family, which has four members (LMO1-4) and is associated with a variety of cancers. LMO2 is expressed in normal lymphogerminal center B cells, as well as lymphomas, acute B-lymphocytic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia derived from germinal center cells. LMO2 is one of the best prognostic markers for prolonged survival of DLBCL patients after immunochemotherapy.
