Background

Oligodendrocyte transcription factor (Olig2) is a member of the Olig protein family related to oligodendrocyte genesis and maturation. It is expressed in normal oligodendrocytes and neoplastic oligodendrocytes, and is also widely expressed in astrocyte tumors. It is mainly used in the diagnosis of oligodendrocyte tumor.
