Background

P53 is a tumor suppressor gene, which can be divided into wild type and mutant type. P53 is expressed in many kinds of tumors, including breast tumors, gastrointestinal tumors, liver cell tumors and respiratory tumors. The mutation or deletion of the gene is the cause of many tumors. P53 is also a regulator of apoptosis. The expression of P53 is mainly used in the study of various tumors and can be used as one of the indicators of tumor prognosis.
