Background

ZAP-70 is a kind of protein kinase, which is expressed in T cells and NK cells and participates in the activation of T cell receptor. The mutation of this gene will lead to severe compound immunodeficiency syndrome (SCID). The antigen is also related to the mutation of LG heavy chain gene in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), disease progression and prognosis. Therefore, the expression of ZAP-70 can be used for the prognosis of CLL.
